David has written scores for TV shows (CBC, ABC, CBS, TVO, PBS) and has a large body of orchestral and chamber music.

His music falls into three broad categories: Symphonic, Chamber and electro-acoustic.

He has received commissions and grants from the Canada Council and has lectured at Carleton and Lasalle Universities.
