The Compass Drive-in is a sonic tribute to the ubiquitous noise that surrounds us. Intended to surround the listener from four points of the compass, each direction's ambience plays uncoordinated with the others until the climax of the piece where all four speaker directions share and expand upon a common pulse.

Each track here is named after the direction from whence it is intended to be played, with the "title" track being a fold-back demonstration track of the piece in stereo.
